A while back I posted about the fact that everyone I knew was having babies and the orders were flying in. I’ve decided to get a move on and purchased some Debbie Bliss Baby Cashmerino from Kangarooto get me started. This is probably the softest yarn I’ve ever used – a mix of merino wool, microfibre and cashmere. When I say soft I really mean soft and oh so strokeable. I decided to get some pale pink as my friend had a baby girl recently and she’s going to be my first recipient of the baby season.
I’ve decided to make a jacket with moss stitch bands, courtesy of Debbie Bliss’s ‘Baby Knits for beginners’. Its simple and hopefully should be a fast knit.
